Trish Farrar started poling in the early 2000’s sporadically at various studios in California.  It was only when she got her own pole in 2012 for regular and more frequent practice that she turned the initial interest into a full-blown passion and amazing aerial business, Polefiction by Trish.  Her abilities have continued to advance through tireless practice, tons of pole kisses (bruises), endless learning from colleagues around the world and most important, dedication and consistency.  She became certified through XPERT training and thrives on teaching, particularly one-on-one so she can shape a program that works for the individual.  She enjoys learning new moves and choreographing routines for all occasions and particularly loves teaching beginners, helping people find their niche in the aerial world and taking aerialists to the next level.  On top of pole, she teaches aerial yoga, lollipop, lyra, off-pole conditioning, floorwork, choreography and chair work.  Pole fitness continues to carry with it an interesting stigma and Trish works constantly to demystify and educate about this amazing and unique workout.  Since the pandemic, she continues to offer virtual lessons in addition to in studio classes.
